Warehouse Assistant (Graduate)

Legend Footwear is a rapidly growing online retailer specializing in branded footwear. Based in Greenford, west London, we have been in operation since 1992. We are currently seeking a full-time Warehouse Assistant to join our team at our warehouse in Greenford.

Role Overview:
As a Warehouse Assistant, you will be responsible for various day-to-day tasks in our busy warehouse environment. This includes accepting deliveries, performing warehouse duties, fulfilling orders, and dispatching them accurately and on time.
Responsibilities:
Efficiently pick and pack items in accordance with expected time targets.
Thoroughly check items against customer orders for accuracy.
Assist in the loading and organization of daily deliveries.
Accurately pack and dispatch customer orders to designated locations.
Work effectively in a physically demanding environment.
Minimum Requirements:
Ability to work well under pressure.
Willingness to work weekends in addition to weekdays.
Must be physically fit.
Must reside within a 30-minute commuting distance from Greenford.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in manual handling, including standing for 8 hours a day on a full-time basis.
Please note that our warehouse operates 7 days a week, and the position requires a minimum of 5 days per week. Weekend availability is necessary. We also offer a monthly performance bonus.
Please be aware that the initial 3 months of employment are probationary and intended for training and support. During this period, the pay rate is £11 per hour. After the probationary period, the wage will automatically increase to £12 per hour.
