Opening its doors in 2023, Rixos Qetaifan Island North will offer a luxurious 345-key hotel, a captivating souq spanning 11,000 square meters of leasing space, a breathtaking beach club, an exciting theme park, and a thrilling waterpark. Situated with panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf, this resort aims to showcase Qatar as a premier tourism destination. The highlight of the island will be the Waterpark attraction, featuring the world's tallest tower of its kind, reaching an impressive height of 82 meters.
Role of the Bell Attendant
As a Bell Attendant at Rixos Hotels, your primary responsibility is to ensure the smooth handling of guests' luggage. You will be in charge of delivering bags promptly and accurately to and from rooms, cars, and the airport. Additionally, you will assist guests with inquiries and fulfill various service requests in accordance with our brand standards and Standard Operating Procedures.

Responsibilities of a Bell / Luggage Attendant
To ensure a seamless guest experience, your key responsibilities as a Bell / Luggage Attendant will include:
Warmly greet and welcome guests: Create a positive first impression by greeting and welcoming guests at the main entrance.
Assist in driveway management: Coordinate vehicle arrivals and departures efficiently to maintain a smooth flow of traffic.
Provide assistance with guest arrivals and departures: Extend assistance to guests by opening and closing car and taxi doors as they arrive or depart.
Maintain cleanliness and tidiness: Keep the entrance and baggage room clean and tidy, ensuring a pleasant and inviting atmosphere for guests.
Efficient baggage handling: Ensure timely pickup and delivery of guests' luggage, providing a reliable and efficient service.
Offer information and assistance: Be proactive in providing information and assistance to guests whenever required, enhancing their overall experience.
Personalized service: Strive to remember individual guests' names, particularly repeat and long-staying guests. Greet guests as they pass through the lobby, offering a personalized touch to their stay.
Maintain accurate records: Log all job assignments diligently in the respective logbooks, using the Duty Log to document important matters.
Newspaper delivery: Upon the arrival of newspapers, prepare and deliver them to guest rooms as assigned by the Front Office staff.
Security vigilance: Alert the Security or Duty Manager if you notice any suspicious individuals or articles.
Qualifications and Skills
To excel in the role of Bell / Luggage Attendant, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
Secondary / High school education: A strong educational foundation is essential for this position.
Proficient in English language: Good reading and oral proficiency in English is required. Knowledge of other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage.
No prior experience required: This entry-level position does not require previous experience as training will be provided to successful candidates.
